What we do

Spring & fall cleanup
Leaves, winter debris, and the first or last cut of the year so the lawn is ready for the next season.
Aeration & overseed
Open compacted soil, drop seed, and give thin spots a chance to fill before heat or dormancy.
Hedge & bed lines

Who shows up
August Vale and a small local crew.
August started mowing yards in Dutchess County in 2011. Vale Grounds is still owner-run: the person who quotes the job is usually the person on the mower. We take a limited number of weekly stops so your Saturday slot does not slide to Tuesday.
If you want a different crew every week and a lawn cut as short as a putting green, we are not the shop. If you want the same people, a thick stand of grass, and edges that hold after rain — book a visit.
